It features an optical zoom of 2-9x to capture close up images. For easy viewing, the viewfinder angles up and down while the eye cup cradles your eye for comfort while catching footage. A lens cap snaps on to protect your lens, and dangles from an attached cord during use so you are not at risk for losing it. The device has a built-in microphone, but an microphone jack also supports an external microphone. For easy viewing of your images on a TV screen, the CCD-TR5 has video/audio input/output jacks as well.
