The Allen-Bradley 1756 ControlLogix I/O module provides a wide range of features to meet the needs of manufacturing applications. The Allen-Bradley 1756-TBNH PLC removable terminal block is a necessary component that connects the wiring of the manufacturing area, to the 1756 ControlLogix I/O module. The ControlLogix I/O modules offer digital, diagnostic digital, analog and motion control, to meet the needs of the manufacturing application. Each ControlLogix input or output module’s wiring, must be connected through an Allen-Bradley 1756-BNH PLC removable terminal block. The Allen-Bradley 1756-TBNH removable terminal block provides a flexible means of connecting the wiring of the manufacturing plant and the 1756 ControlLogix (I/O) input and output modules. The Allen-Bradley 1756-TBNH PLC removable terminal block is compatible with a number of Allen-Bradley ControlLogix modules, including the 1756-iN16,1756-iT6i, 1756-iT6i2 and the1756-iV16. Every ControlLogix I/O module is encased in a ControlLogix chassis housing and needs a removable terminal block, in order to connect and control all the field-side wiring. The 1756-TBNH’s mounting position is in the front of the I/O module and must be plugged into the face of the module. The Allen-Bradley 1756-TBNH PLC terminal block is not included with an input or output module and the 1756-TBNH NEMA block must be ordered separately for the unit. The Allen-Bradley ControlLogix platform features multiple input and output modules, with a range of many manufacturing applications and automation. High-speed control, through the process control, is built into the ControlLogix’s architecture. The modules use a proprietary system that supplies information from any given output or input module and allows it to be shared between several controllers. The Allen-Bradley 1756-TBNH terminal block must be selected based on the type of I/O module chosen for the manufacturing application or automation. The 1756-TBNH terminal block is available in a screw-clamp or a spring-clamp version. Special attention must be given to the housing on the wiring arm. It does not accommodate 2.5mm2 wiring or cable. An extended housing must be used in order to use 2.5mm2 wiring or cable. The termination position is made to the 20-position screw clamps of the 1756-TBNH NEMA terminal block. Each screw must be tightened to the recommended torque of 12 pounds per inch. In order for the Allen-Bradley 1756-TBNH terminal block to function at optimum performance, only solid or stranded copper wire, sized between 2.2 and 14 American wire gauge at 194 degree Fahrenheit should be used on each pin. It is advisable to use a maximum of two conductors on any single terminal pin. The screw-clamps require a screwdriver of 5/16 inches, maximum width, for tightening.
