Meters make the difference
With integral voltmeter and ammeter this controller allows for blending two circuits by setting the same track voltage and is a very useful trouble shooting aid by being able to see load current. Control for analogue layouts is smooth and friendly with a large rotation and well located reversing switch. Adequate power for most applications but could limit two-loco monster pulls if the aux power is connected as well. Modern coaches with lights might take to its 30VA rating. I have 4 of these and only use my MRC model 20 for monster pulls.
