Hello the movie the odd angry shot is ok is based in Wietnam about Australian army ,after is 21 st birthday [BILL] goes to fight in Wietnam as a part of Australian forces ,he'n in the Special Air Service Elite professional soldiers who look down on the 'Nashos' the conscripted troop , the rest include Roger/ Dawson/Scott/and later Bung ,the all are young men who believe the fight for their own country ,the daily life in the camp consist of rain/beer/cards/and bad food ,the are asking them self what the are doing there .when the get ready to go on patrol in the jungle at first the excitement and terror ,the numbers dwindle as the tour progress in a series realistic portrayed skirmishes with the enemy ,actually the are in a panic and the count the day till the go home, very disappoint indeed ,i find funny laughable regards

Top war film.
Undoubtedly the best war film I've ever watched. It captures the roller coaster experiences of war. The boredom, the laughs, the terror and tension. Well worth watching.
