Worth Watching
Dustin Hoffman's debut as a director is home run! Quartet is a "feel-good" movie about lost love and the "joys" of getting old. Outstanding acting and beautiful scenery. Definitely worth watching.

Delightful to see all the "old" timers in one production - dealing with aging in a retirement home for classic performers - poignant, sad, hilarious and always entertaining. Great fan of Maggie and have almost all of her movies in my collection - can do no wrong.

I found it rather interesting how all those people who were musicians at one time retired to this place and still put on performances. The story line was kind of sad in a way, but worthy to note how two individuals worked things out between them.

Enchanting!
Just saw Maggie Smith in her newest movie, Van Lady, and she remains captivating in any role. Other actors were equally prefect for their roles and you cannot help wanting to grow old with these wonderful personalities. Not for the young looking for action packed bang-bang shoot em up suspense. This is a love story of the joy of ageless life that unfolds to envelope you in a subtle majesty of fearlessly growing into your final years and a beauty of accepting the aging process with force and conviction.

Light and Enjoyable.
A nice film for a scrunch on the couch with a cup of coffee and biscuits. Very enjoyable and a nice change. Would highly recommend to anyone.

One of the greatest movies ever produced.
This is an amazing movie about a home for retired musicians staring Maggie Smith. It was directed by Dustin Hoffman. The acting is amazing as well as the music but the message is even more important. I am 71 and still going strong and this is a movie about living, don't quit until you take your final breath. What a movie! I wish every person of all ages would watch it.

Fabulous movie
quartet has some amazing actors, Maggie smith, Tom Courtland and is very entertaining. Be sure to watch the end credits, they will totally surprise you.
