Pleased with shaving results
Have used the Braun series 8 8577cc for 6 days now and the shave it gives is impressive-takes 8 to 10 minutes for a complete smooth shave. My old shaver was a Braun Series 3 and it was louder and took 10 to 13 minutes for a complete shave, and not always smooth. The series 8 seems a little high priced with the care center included, which I don’t see a need for yet. There is a brush included but no oil. Brushing out the open top and shaking out the shaved whiskers from the foil daily seems to keep it clean without using the care center which it says to replace every 8 weeks for $60! The shaving itself is quiet and using the moveable head seems to shave better than the locked in place option. No skin irritation. The hair trimmer is small but seems to work ok. Overall the shave is great, the lack of oil is inconvenient, and the care center is overpriced/ unnecessary.
