Told him I had PayPal, even though eBay s policy prohibits transactions outside the eBay platform. Payed the invoice and even provided transaction ID. Seller didn t know he needs to manually ACCEPT the money, thru PayPal app or email notification, or it will remain in PENDING. He thought link provided with official payment information was a phishing link. Threatens a report. Made me feel as a thieve. I gave a full refund for the return, however after initiating the refund, the buyer wanted to keep the item. We discussed a method of repayment for the item and the buyer only had PayPal. I sent an invoice and notified the buyer. Immediately after, the buyer responds back with a phishing scam asking me to click on a py.pl link to collect the payment. This buyer is scamming sellers into clicking suspicious links.
