Printed maps!

Not as good as old style
They divided each state at least in half. Many into quarters. Didn’t bother to make sure the route numbers appeared on the extra pages. Paper is thin and easy to tear as a result. I don’t like it. Be sure to read the full description, it is not what you think
I needed a full size atlas, this Rand Mcnally atlas is a booklet. Does not have the major cities or the routes I needed to plan a trip and how to navigate either around or through the cities. It was my fault, I did not read the f-u-l-l description, where it listed the size of atlas that would be coming. The book can be better

SMALL & INCOMPLETE
NOT WHAT I WAS EXPECTING, HALF THE SIZE OF MY 2002 RAND McNALLY ROAD ATLAS WITH ABOUT HALF THE INFORMATION. GUESS I WILL BE STOPPING AT THE STATE WELCOME CENTERS TO GET A STATE MAP OF EACH STATE THAT I TRAVEL IN. Spiral Small Atlas

Travel safely and knowingly
I got the idea to purchase a printed map book while I was on a off the grid trip last month. No cell service, no passing cars or people, and no Google Maps. I like to know where I am, but more importantly, relative to where I want to be. This book is large and readable and comprehensive. I can find my way to places I never knew were there, but for their indication on the paper map. Can't do this dream traveling with an eMap. Thanks to Rand McNally, the open road is our oyster.
