The title allows the viewer to think about their own roots their own identity where they came from the people who came before them and how their life
This program is a must see especially if you are a history buff. History put on film allows you to engage with characters feel a part of the program itself take you back to a time that is nostalgic. Finding your roots gives a person clarity with a sense of belonging to a family knowing where you came from.

It’s a must have dvd set for every home!
What a privilege it’s been to view such a history of a dear family. What passion, what love, what endurance and strength in such a tumultuous time of our history. It is a story we should all watch. What painful lessons to learn about such a great people! Thank you for sharing your family with the world, Alex Haley. I am deeply humbled to say the least.

I’ve been trying to find this movie on all platforms to no avail so I came here to see can I find a copy of roots I got my delivery before the expected date and I’m super excited to start watching it
