Fun series with great acting, lots of laughs and engaging story line.
Brit com at it's best. Very well thought out and acted series. This is the third time watching it (with lots of time between) and it never gets old or stale. Highly recommended.

Must have! Great classic British comedy for the whole family.
Fantastic British comedy that I absolutely love. Written well and can be watched by everyone. Has some "typical British humor (dry)" which some Americans are not used to. It's classy without violence, bad language, and sexual situations that many American comedies seem to have. Keith and Bowles are a match made in heaven. Supporting cast also does well. Can watch it over and over again.

One of the best ever!
"To The Manor Born" is one of the best comedy series ever. I enjoyed it in England and loved seeing it again so many years later. The cast was made up of talented actors who blended as a fabulous ensemble. It's a wonderful satire of the British class system but it isn't mean -- just funny.

All Hail Dame Penelope Keith, Peter Bowles, Angela Thorne and the entire cast.
Excellent family entertainment. Comical glimpse of Old English Nobility. Too bad there were only 3 Seasons of this Show. The 25th Anniversary Reunion just as enjoyable.

One of our favorite TV series
To the Manor Born was one of our favorite shows on PBS. But it was just too short. Now, with the DVD set, we can put it in our rotation of shows to watch.

Pleasantly surprised to find that the series has closed captions. So often British English can be difficult to understand, and more often than not, I've found that Brits are less likely to provide subtitles.

2 of the disc froze up skipped and they were scratch real bad should have thrown away i feel like i just threw ten dollars away i wish i would have tried watch before i gave original feedback

Happy I have this!
I grew up with PBS in the PNW and this would come around often. I love this show; it’s funny, light-hearted, and is something that I watched with my mom. This came wrapped well and before it was due. Excellent condition. Thank you so much!
