seated liberty dime
The Seated liberty design coinage were minted roughly from 1838 -1891. These coins were circulated and was not generally hoarded for prosperity. When you find them, they are usually worn thin with little detail. As a collector, I want a higher quality coin with as much detail I can afford. My biggest criteria for any obsolete U S coin is being able to read 'LIBERTY' on the obverse of the coin. The second is details on the eagle on the reverse. I like obsolete U S coins because they, in my mind represent the importance of freedom. To me, freedom doesn't have a face, it's an idea. Any way, this dime had everything that mattered for the price. Only thing better is an uncirculated piece which I can't do now.Bestätigter Kauf: Ja
