Top value in mulching blades.
Makes the tuff, tall grass we have here in the south not so tuff anymore. Very well made but just wont feature the more expensive "brand name" fanfare. Ya just cant beat these for the money.

Look good, haven't put them on mower yet because I had some rough cutting to do first and didn't want to do it with the new blades. They look and feel good.

not a good buy.
The spindles bolted to the deck but they were approx.. a half inch to long. they wouldn't work. The pullies wouldn't lined up. They won't work on a42 inch Troy-Bilt lawn mower. I, used the bearings from one spindles and used them on my old spindle to get my mower working. The belt brock on the first try. The blades worked finds.

Mulching blades
These are heavy-duty mulching blades that do an excellent job on leaves. They are much thicker than the blades that came on my tractor on so far I'm very pleased with them. They mulch the leaves to a much finer powder than my previous blades. I would highly recommend them if you have a 42 inch lawn tractor.

Different brand name blades
The blades were mismatch and not from same maker. One blade was a stens and the other was a mtd blade. Because they were mismatch they would not stack neatly on each other. This means the blade pitch was not the same and cause a severe vibration when install. I took them off and went and got a new set locally and put them on an the vibration stop and mower was fine. I sold one of the blades and will sell the other one separately to customers that want a cheap blade. I will retrieve my money eventually but do not highly recommend putting different blades on a mower because of depth the blade will cut or vibration that it will cause.

No Fancy Package
Big Box wanted Big Bucks for the same blades encased in Plastic with vivid Graphics. Same part number, half the price, arrived in plain wrapper .

Best blades hands down!
I've used gator blades in the past, and these blades give a better cut. Edges are longer on the blades, wider than most and do an amazing job! Will buy again!
