Way cool idea.
What a car model builder like me wants....a cool customized car....easy to build because the hard stuff is done...like the chopped top and body mods. Both of the Revell 48 fords custom or the police version kits, are great building modes
Both Revell/Monogram 48 Ford kits build the way they should,parts fit. they in my opinion, do need some modification to get them lower like back in the day. BUT I have built one and started the chopped version, both go together very nicely. Such a great pare of kits, I would recommend to any one. I have ordered another of the police kit, many ways to build both or swap parts, This kit should come out in a strip or street version, or do a kit you can build like the good old 3 in 1 kits with all the race/custom/ and stock parts. The extra grills and grill shells in the 'kustom' kit are a great reminder of the 3 in 1 kits of the 50' - 60's ( 'WE MISS THEM MR. Revell ?
