Iconic Pop singer and tons of hits remastered
Before Madonna, Olivia Newton-John dominated the pop charts for 15 years, and reinvented her style and genre of music. Starting out as a country singer, progressing as an adult contemporary pop singer, and then successfully transitioned to a sexy Pop/Rock singer. People tend to forget just how tremendously huge her star burned bright. 5 number one songs (including the highest charting song of the entire 1980's), 15 other top ten singles, over 20 more top 40 singles, 4 Grammy Awards , many Gold and Platinum albums, and co-starring in the mega-hit classic Movie "Grease." Even though "Xanadu" was called a flop, the soundtrack was huge, selling over 4 million copies and 5 top 20 singles. In fact, the movie profited from it's cult status, turning a huge profit over the years, it actually is a profitable so called flop, inspiring a hit Broadway parody. This collection of songs on 2 discs, covers all her top 40 smashes, her soundtrack hits and a couple rare tracks as well. It is a career definitive collection her fans should adore.

Very Good.
Any time I hear Olivia sing, I think it is very appreciated. She has a wonderful voice and I think she has been Blessed with the talent to share her music and songs with others. I like this Cd. Thanks.

Great product of Olivia
The Olivia Newton-John Gold is a very good 2pack CD with a big variety of songs. Many famous hits of the past with some songs that I haven't heard before. Great product of Olivia for a good price.
