Alternative to a music stand or a Tablet
A4 size music 'stand' that clips onto your mic stand. Cheap, simple, and easy to use apart from the fact that the tapered mount of the bracket not fitting the mail panel of the 'plate' very well makes the whole thing a bit like wrestling with a slippery eel! I cured this by drilling through both bits when they were in the using it position and inserted a couple of self tapping screws into the holes. Bingo. It now holds together firmly but is a pain to pack because it assumes an unweildly format. It should be a better design and a student doing design at school could come up with a solution to this in ten minutes flat, so which designer passed this item onto a manufacturer without trying it out for fitness for purpose I wonder, and does he/she care? My self tapping screws do the job and will be replaced by pop rivets pretty soon, but it shouldn't need this sort of tinkering with in the first place. This is a design fault and the reason for the Okay rating. Having said all that, once in place the thing really earns it's keep because your lyric sheet sits right in your eye line on your mic stand. All I need now is to come up with a device that holds my lyric sheets in place as per the pages of a book for ease of flipping to the next song. Any ideas anyone?

Small but great and well made.
I bought this to be easy to transport and to use for my iPad and two small books (Hymn book and Mission Praise words) I can have the iPad on with one of the books open on top, I wasn't expecting to be able to have them all on this size of stand. The fitting was very good for say a mic stand however I had a very small folding stand I wanted to use and felt the arm was sticking out too far. Not a design fault just my preference. So I decided to take it off the arm and make it part of my small stand. This was remarkably easy the fitting itself is very well made and it adapted well. I now carry it in a bag with my other stands and it's fantastic. I can fully recommend this if you want the arm or if like me you want to adapt it. It's a well made small footprint - I feel professional quality - stand and the price was fantastic.

Would be good in different circumstances.
When this arrived, I could see that it was too small to be of any use to me, so I sent it back and the seller refunded. It's only one A4 sheet wide but the only picture on the listing did not give this impression as it looked as though the width was foreshortened. I could see through the plastic bag that the quality of this stand was very good though and if someone only needed a small stand to clip onto a mike stand then it would be a good item for them.

decent quality, very handy - a bargain - get one!
it's more substantial than I expected. The clamps hold it pretty well into the mic stand althiygh it takes a bit of trial and error to find the best positioning for it. The plate is a bit larger that A4 sise and will conmfortably hold A4 sized music/lyrics. I would probably struggle a but with a heavy folder but I trise it with a small sing binder and it fitted but not really the best. I'm using it dor a tablet at the moment and it's no problem. I would recommend and with careful shopping aroing you'll get it for a bargain.

small and robost
I bought this small music stand to put my zoom r8 for for live gigs. I found it very robost and well made. It fits onto my large music stand and can be positioned in more or less any angle. well worth the money.

Good quality item
Very nice item and well made. It's very heavy and luckily I had an existing stand to purchase it on.Highly recommended and great for my voice-over work.
