This game features beautifully refined effects and shading techniques, which make each character's effects appear more realistic. Even more, stages are playable in both Day and Night modes to give explosions and bursts of light even more dazzle. Certain characters can also access special abilities when exposed to the full moon.Released in 2007 by Atari, this Wii game also features interesting modes and extra features. New to this edition is the Battle Replay mode, which allows you to save and replay your favorite battles. The Wii version of this title features online multi-player capability as well as local multiplayer capacity. This game is a dragonball fan’s dream come true as it boasts a stunning roster of over 150 available fighters, competing in planet shattering battles over a variety of stages. Even for those who scoff at the idea of dragonball will be compelled by the games fun fighting style. The controls are relatively intuitive and the special moves are very true to the show. Dragonball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 3 has a very simple control layout; A to punch, B for ki blasts, C and Z to fly up and down. Combos are relatively easy to pull off and the flashy special attacks are performed by replicating the show’s counterpart with the wiimote. For example, to do a kamehameha, you perform the motions of a kamehameha with the wiimote while holding left on the d-pad. While this may seem like a catastrophic ... The graphics are great especially considering that the game was co-developed for both the wii and ps2, and it has a very DBZ feel. Sound effects are a bit grainy but still set the tone nicely. The funimation cast appears to represent the english dub and do a good job at representing the characters. While it is nice to have an english voice cast, the original japanese cast is optional if you want that authentic DBZ feel. Overall this game’s a fun experience for fighting game enthusiasts, and a must buy for dragonball fans around the globe.

One of a kind Dragon Ball game
This has gotta be the best Dragon Ball game I've ever played on an objective standpoint. The graphics are amazing for it's time (PS2/Wii era) and it's rich in content, featuring many different modes and playable characters from the Original Dragon Ball up to GT. For 2007 that's pretty amazing because not many Dragon Ball games do this, they just do Z and sometimes GT which is annoying. The gameplay is very fun albiet difficult sometimes, it has many layers of skills and combos. This is the definitive Dragon Ball game experience and I highly recommend it to fans of all kinds!This has gotta be the best Dragon Ball game I've ever played on an objective standpoint. Best Wii game
Dare I say best Dragonball game ever, I have always loved this game. Never cares for Xenoverse but DBZ Budokai Tenkaichi 3 is the best IMHO. The grabbing is done by hugging motion, rapid up and down shakes for dragon rushing, and doing any special technique requires doing the motions for i.e. the Kamehameha Wave. 5 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
