The Vera series is great and I am enjoying it!
I expected Vera disc to be fine. Of the 7 episodes I've watched so far, two have had hic cups in them. I'm hoping there will be only few of those. Very good and intricate plots, keeps you guessing.
This is an excellent mystery series I had never heard of before watching Season 9 recently on PBS. Very intricate plots, keeps you guessing as to "who did it" until the end. I love the humanness of the characters and how Vera drives her detective force to find answers (third episode of Season 1, she found out her chief sidekick referred to her as "Moussilini" at home!).Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Vera--great British entertainment.
A great show. Good police drama without a lot of blood and gore. It takes watching several shows before the average American can pick up on and understand the northern England accent --but well worth it. Great clean mysteries.
Little hard to get into at first but, after a few episodes it has become engaging and holds your interest and imagination. Use of the subtitles helps overcome the accents which are in no way as bad as a few reviews tried to make them out to be..Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Very entertaining.

Tremendous cast and riveting stories
Happened to catch our first experiences watching Vera on our local Public Television channel. Actors are superb and the scripts keep you in suspense in terms of figuring out who the potential muderer(s) may be.
