Very easy to use
So easy! I put it on my mixer and I was able to make buttercream frosting in 10 minutes without having to stop and scrape down the bowl. I was skeptical because when you 1st put it on, the blade is not flush to the wall, but once it is mixing you can see how it works. Works well, but makes sure you thoroghly scrub it before using
Make sure you really wash it in earnest before using for the first time. My wife rinsed it off with soap and water before making some frosting for its maiden voyage. The frosting ended up with a slight grey tinge. Scraper broke quickly.
The paddle fit the Kitchen-Aide mixer well and worked well for about 2 months. The rubber scraper ripped along the seam against the paddle. My wife used this item about 3 or 4 times. It is a good concept. The physical design is good. The rubber material used is not good enough for its intended purpose.

Excellent product
This product is well made and does an amazing job mixing ingredients and clearing the sides of the the bowl. No need to stop the mixer and use a spatula like with your other beaters. My cakes are extra light and fluffy. Highly recommended!Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Discontinued KA Beater, get it before its gone!
Discontinued Kitchenaid Beater for the 6 quart bowl. No longer manufactured. The replacement flex edge beater does not have the internal bars. This one has the flex edge AND the internal bars, which aid in mixing. Yes, it takes a tiny bit more effort to clean those bars, but not significantly so. Mostly a gimmick.
It is hardly an improvement over the standard one that comes with the mixer. It is a gimmick for a lot of money. No matter what at the end of the work you have to use a spatula to empty the bowl.
