Only good if it doesn't leak.
I would have liked to give this 4 stars BUT it leaks. I first got a Static V and was pleased with the support and ease of inflation. I wanted something a little wider and just a bit more loft when inflated so I sent for the Static V Luxe (refurbished). At first it only leaked 10% (15 full breaths for original inflation & 1-2 to restore) over 7-8 hours and I figured I could live with that. Now it is closer to 15% over 2 hours. Not usable. I spent over 2 hours trying to find the leak (I don't have a pool, large bathtub or still pond available so I had to use the spray bottle of soapy water method) and only now realize how the design (good for loft & support) is horrible for finding leaks unless there is an obvious hole in the puffed out pocket/channels area. For one thing, each small area requires 3 sprayings - one for the expanded areas, one for the visible channels and one for each of the many folded/creased areas that you have to hold apart and examine. The numbers of seams/"welds" is quite daunting...and I still couldn't find the problem. I triple checked the valves (I do like their design, much better than the old "shove the attached plug in while the mattress/beachball (etc) is rapidly deflating"). If used for camping, I would recommend extensively testing the mattress beforehand. The included repair kit is useless if you can't find the leak. I will admit that (having worked in Quality Assurance) I am a bit prickly about a returned item being sent out without fixing the original problem. I am writing this as I wait for the mattress to dry so I can go through the hassle of sending it back. That being said, if you get one that isn't defective and you are very careful (possibly adding a pad underneath?) about how and where you use it...I would give it 4 stars. This review is about a "certified refurbished" product. New update - I got a refund and updating the review got it yanked...or just the process of being refunded made it no longer a review? I was questionable.... but WOW!
What a great deal. I saw a review stating there was a large patch or whatever. So I was not to sure what to expect. I opened and thoroughly checked all seems valves etc. not a single patch/stain/loose stitch. NOTHING for all I can tell I just got a hell of a deal on a brand new klymit! Not only was it a steal it’s huge (in a good way) spreads my single hammock perfectly! No cold breeze on the back. Thank you klymit!!! This rocks!

good stuff , well designed.
i had the narrower version.. it was great.. i needed something a little wider.. i'm a side sleeper, i think this will be the one! I love how these things pack down! I dont do the backpack camping thing, but its still nice when things pack down small. My wife has one of those self-inflating pads, and it takes up as much room as our freaking tent! ..plus the self inflating ting is pita to pack up and is really not all that comfortable to sleep on anyway. I would say dont be afraid of the refurbish thing...they seem to be just fine.. plus people send stuff back to the retailer now for little or no reason..used to be, you bought it, it was yours.. now if its not quite right.. send it back. geez what a deal.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

Took much more than 15 breaths to fill. Other than that it's a good product.
Good Points Comfortable, Good Value for the Money, Light, Packs small. Bad Point: It's supposed to take 15 breaths to fill, but it took much more than that. Big repair near one of the valves
There is a rather large repair next to one of the valves. I sent a photo in because of my concern, knowing that I get a 1 year warranty. I was told not to be concerned. However, I am concerned that this may fail when I am out camping. We will see.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

Like sleeping on a cloud
Klymit got the ergonomics down perfect on their sleeping pad. Face it, it's uncomfortable sleeping on the ground. Klymit solved the problem. They also kept the solution feather Lite so as not to shift the sleeping comfort problem to a pack weight problem. Few things are as important as a good night's sleep and rest.
