Finding a hidden gem.
I was not very knowledgeable about this character I knew of him in the most generic terms. I knew of the comic strip in the paper and I knew of the Filmation version of the Worlds Greatest Superheroes but I took a chance after seeing some nice reviews from people I felt knew what they were talking about. Facebook is a great place to learn about movies that you might have missed. Was this in the same genre of say Gone With The Wind or Casablanca? No but it doesn't have to be. It excel's for different reasons I think this is a situation where the actors and the script came together along with some very impressive camera work to make such a good film. I take my hat off for the creators having watched the original serials I was wondering just how they would be able to pull a movie from that era in the today world. I didn't have to think that way. It doesn't need a update it is perfect set in the same universe as the original serial and it works. If you can set aside your thoughts maybe on the star of the movie. I know of friends of mine who said they wouldn't watch it because of that actor. I saw him in Titanic and the character there seemed very one dimensional something that Cameron can sometimes create when working on an epic. But all that aside I still think that what this is for my collection is that it makes it more complete in the way that I want to have all the Superhero titles of the comics I was raised with and this is a welcome addition. I hope you will give it a chance.

Simply marvelous! I would see it again and again and not ger enough of it
This character has always been an totally entertaining character in science fiction comic character I Have always loved.

Great movie, grainy DVD release
Great movie but the 1999 dvd release of this 1996 movie is grainier than a movie on dvd should be. I would normally give this 4-5 stars but the grainy print garners a 3 star review.

A very underrated cult classic.
Super excited and happy whenever I got this. Loved This movie so much in my childhood. Thank you for letting me reconnect with it.

It was a great deal and it was exactly what I was looking for a couple other movies added to the order that was a bonus thanks

My first love
The phantom is the first comic book I ever read when I was 5. And I've been hooked ever since!! That was 53 years ago. And everytime I look at a comic, it takes me back 😁

A VERY GOOD ACTION MOVIE WITH NICE SPECIAL EFFECTS ! WISH THEY WOULD'VE MADE A COUPLE OF MORE SEQUELS TO THIS MOVIE. IT ENDS WITH A POSSIBILITY.....
