This ultra-compact 18-55mm 3X zoom provides superb versatility in a wide variety of shooting situations. Designed exclusively for Nikon DX format SLRs, this lens approximates the picture angle performance of a 27-82.5mm lens on the 35mm format. Silent Wave Motor (SWM) with compact rod-type design enables ultra-high speed autofocusing with exceptional accuracy and super-quiet operation. A simple, good product
Well packaged,and works fine straight out of the box - the autofocus works really smoothly, although in some cases the camera (Nikon D3200) wasn't able to focus. Zooming in and out or removing and replacing the lens has worked so far in these cases. The lens is also very light and portable, although I'd imagine the plastic finishing may wear quickly if exposed to extreme conditions; the optical quality is also good over the entire range (from a quoted minimum distance of ~ 1ft upwards). One thing though; this lens does NOT come with vibration reduction (VR), so longer exposures will probably benefit from using a tripod or stable support; all in all, this kit lens makes a good starter lens for general purpose usage.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Nikkor 18-55 zoom
Although I would rather have had the VR version of this focal length, finances were not in favor. However, I'm not at all dissatisfied with the lens I received. Its condition is as good as new. It's tiny and tight and fast handling as one could possibly desire. I put it on my camera body the day it arrived and even though I have other lenses, including an older 35-70 that focuses much closer, I have not taken it off since. Good value, but not the best lens
I'm a new photographer. My photos come out nice and clear, but not ultra sharp unless I'm outside with natural sunlight. Seemingly, I need to have more light than my other larger lens. I also have trouble focusing on smaller objects with this lens. It does take good head shots and normal photos. Excellent value for the money!
Sharp images, great price (even new), low aberration/distortion. My favourite "let your kid explore the DSLR" lens. You won't cry if they drop it, they're probably going to take great pictures with it, and the zoom is quite smooth. Really, the only downside to this lens is that you can't manually focus without turning off autofocus. Big deal. Good Results + Performance
Just needed a telephoto AF S lens to round out my equipment. With not much use or aggravation, I managed to get off from pretty nice shots with very nice, well focused shots, and vibrant color with no effort at all. With some future use, and trial by error should my choice for sports and outdoor shots. Good for the every day

Great value!!
I had to replace my previous lens because I wore it out! Being new to photography, I had no idea they wear out. Finding one that didn't cost as much as my entire camera package was a challenge. Nikon lens for a Nikon camera.
Brand name lens today are all great. Auto focus and stabilization are great features. The lens are expensive. If you are good you can shoot great pictures with cheaper lens that don't have these features. Everyone should have at lease one of each.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu
