Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker is a game for the Nintendo DS game console that is designed as a role-playing game and is the fourth part of the Dragon Quest Monsters series. Dragon Quest Monsters for Nintendo DS utilizes cell-shading animation in order to create a dynamic turn-based videogame rendered in complete 3D. Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker gives players the ability to control as many as three monsters in a party while fighting different types of AI. Owners of Dragon Quest Monsters for Nintendo DS are allowed to select five different AI settings, but the game does not allow users to select random battles. Fights on this title for the Nintendo DS game console are only executed when encountering an enemy but are epically rendered in order to bring the player closer to the digital world that Square Enix built. Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker even comes with the ability to play online by uploading a monster team to be ranked and then being allowed to face off against different opponents, which are normally derived from higher and higher-ranked monster teams from actual players.
