"As with all Osprey titles, this is certainly a welcome addition to my growing library of reference material." - IPMS / USA "...a quick and enjoyable read. Unlike other books on surface actions in WW II, the "Duel" series overall offers an interesting perspective." - The Hook Magazine, Journal of Carrier Aviation, "As with all Osprey titles, this is certainly a welcome addition to my growing library of reference material." -- IPMS / USA "...a quick and enjoyable read. Synopsis
In the build-up to World War II both the United States and Japan believed their battleships would play a central role in battle, but after the Pacific War began in December 1941, the role of the battleship proved to be much more limited than either side expected. There would be only two battleship vs battleship actions in the Pacific in World War II, both of which are assessed in this engaging study. At Guadalcanal in 1942, Kirishima faced two modern US battleships, USS Washington and USS South Dakota . In the Surigao Strait in 1944, two World War I-era Japanese battleships, Yamashiro and Fuso , faced six American battleships supported by four heavy cruisers in history's last-ever clash between battleships. Employing full-colour artwork, carefully selected archive photographs, and expert analysis, former US Navy Commander Mark E. Stille examines the two head-to-head clashes between the battleships deployed by the United States and Japan in the struggle for control of the Pacific during World War II., This fully illustrated study lifts the veil on two of history's last battleship-vs-battleship battles as the US and Japanese navies clashed in the Pacific during World War II., In the build-up to World War II both the United States and Japan believed their battleships would play a central role in battle, but after the Pacific War began in December 1941, the role of the battleship proved to be much more limited than either side expected. - 9***6 (21)- Bewertung vom Käufer.Letzte 6 MonateBestätigter KaufThe item that arrived as advertised. A function as intended. The condition was better than I expected. I got some good value for my money. And it has a good appearance. High-quality packaging used. I wasn’t happy about the shipping being delayed by a day, other than that, it was good.Seller was reliable.12 Feet Deep (DVD) Alexandra Park RARE OOP HTF (Nr. 335783497998)
- 4***j (32)- Bewertung vom Käufer.Letzter MonatBestätigter KaufWhen I tell you this item was protected, it really was!! It wasn’t loose in a poly bag… it came in a box with multiple layers of protection. The shirt is in amazing condition and had no flaws, like it was never worn. I messaged the seller with an offer and got an amazing deal. I couldn’t thank them enough… thank you!

I contacted the company and explained. They asked me couple of questions then gave me a full refund. Prompt in answering my request and prompt in issuing a refund!
