Won't play on everything, but sounds great when you can play it
This is NOT a DVD-Audio or video disc, nor an SACD disc. It is a CD with DTS encoded tracks. If you put it in a player that doesn't automatically decode DTS, you will get nothing but annoying hiss that could damage your speakers or system. My PS3, which handles SACD just fine, would not decode the tracks. Fortunately, my separate Sony Blu Ray player did decode, and the surround is quite nice. The mix is a bit odd in places, differing from the original album (though that's often one of the pleasures of surround discs), but enjoyable in its own way. I recommend it, but be careful regarding your equipment. It seems to be the PLAYER, not the A/V Receiver, that will determine whether it plays or not.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht
