Buch, das gelesen wurde, sich aber in einem guten Zustand befindet. Der Einband weist nur sehr geringfügige Beschädigungen auf, wie z.B. kleinere Schrammen, er hat aber weder Löcher, noch ist er eingerissen. Bei gebundenen Büchern ist der Schutzumschlag möglicherweise nicht mehr vorhanden. Die Bindung weist geringfügige Gebrauchsspuren auf. Die Mehrzahl der Seiten ist unbeschädigt, das heißt, es gibt kaum Knitter oder Einrisse, es wurden nur in geringem Maße Bleistiftunterstreichungen im Text vorgenommen, es gibt keine Textmarkierungen und die Randbereiche sind nicht beschrieben. Japanese porcelain played an important role in the decorative schemes of European palaces and country houses in the second half of the 17th century, the continuation of which is felt to this day. Japanese porcelain was imported into Europe from the end of the 1650s until the late 1730s - the period covered in this catalog. The Ashmolean Museum has perhaps the most comprehensive collection in the West. More than 400 pieces are included, among which Arita, Ko-Imari and Kakiemon porcelains, each illustrated and discussed with some comparative material.
