The Bissell Crosswave make wet mopping an antique method of floor cleaning
I already own one of these, using it to clean floors in a small restaurant. I've had it about 2 years but it is giving signs of going bad. This is a replacement for it. Ultimately it was the best use of my money in that it appears to have been lightly used and looked brand new when I took it out of the packaging. It's working just fine. I prefer these devices rather than wet mopping. Mopping to me is just basically moving dirty water around on the floor. The Crosswave puts water down, scrubbing the floor and then vacuums it up for disposal. Much cleaner floor as I see it.

WOW! THIS THING IS GREAT!
I have tile floors and in my bedroom on of my dogs likes to play with his dog bone by knocking it off of the bed with his snout then fetching it. Two things, it makes quite the noise and also on occasion the bones will splinter and I fear him ingesting a splintered bone. I purchased some area rugs to put under the bed frame that stick out 18" on the side and end of the bed. While I have used a spin mop to clean the tile floors, I replaced that with a steam mop for the floors and bought a hand help spot shampooer to do the carpet, I wanted something that was not cumbersome and simple to use. I found it with the CrossWave. I can vacuum, steam mop the tile floors and spot clean the carpet all with one light weight and quality machine. I like it so much I just posted on Craigslist the spin mop and bucket, the hand held rug shampooer and the steam mop. No going back now, I love the CrossWave.

Not what its cracked up to be.
I needed this so I would not have to bend down or kneel on the floor to clean it. It does clean and it does take care of spot messes, with some patience. It does not do edges and even if you put the head against the edge, you still have a gap of uncleaned floor. I was hoping to do away with my wet mop but I had to use it to clean edges. The brush/roller has light contact with the floor, which means going over a certain spot over and over it with solution until it was rubbed out. The brush/roller cleanup is not as good as suggested. Even after two attempts, it still had soap in it, it had to be hand washed. My total review is 4 out of 5 stars, it does save me time and back work and the room smells clean after.

Great, but hard to clean up
It's easy to use, lightweight, cleans well leaving no streaks. However, cleanup is a bit of a chore, as the unit has to be partially disassembled, and the roller brush takes hours to dry. However, I'm pleased overall.

Not bad, great for a bad back.
I was really excited to use this on my new plank lineoleum flooring. It picks up dust like a dream, but it has a few flaws. The brush roll gets dirty really fast so it needs to be rinsed out frequently, also my flooring has a slight texture so I have to go with the grain or the mop will not thoroughly clean the area, also you have to go VERY SLOWLY to clean any visible mess. I have a big house and lots of pets. Mopping by hand would destroy my back, so I'm grateful this prevents me from doing that. But be warned, using this to clean large areas is NOT a quick job.

So Convenient!
I saved half of the time that I would on cleaning my floors. It’s vacuums and mops at the same time and does a tremendous job! You should see how disgusting the water looks when you are ready to MD your tank even though you thought your floors were basically clean to begin with!! The only thing that could be better about this product is that it does not come with any attachment pieces. I highly recommend this product.

Great floor cleaner
It does really work as advertised. Now I just have to use one machine instead of sweeping the floor before I mop. The cord is long enough that I can do my entire kitchen floor. Very happy with my purchase

Leider ist der Artikel nicht für den Deutschen Markt verwendbar !!!!!
Habe mich so auf meinen Bissell gefreut......nur als ich dann das Gerät in die Steckdose stecken wollte, musste ich zu meinem erschrecken feststellen......es war ein amerikanischer Stecker. Voller Hoffnung, dass doch noch alles gut wird, besorgte ich mit einen passenden Adapter....doch auch damit funktionierte einsicht, bzw. die Schutzsicherung im Haus flog raus. Ich kann meinen Bissell nicht nutzen!!!!!! Was kann ich tun? Zurücksenden kostet mich doch sehr viel Geld, da das Gerät ja auch noch durch den Zoll muss. Das ergibt wieder zusätzliche Kosten. Total schade und dumm gelaufen
