Silent Hill 3, version for Sony PlayStation 2, is centered on Heather, a normal girl who finds herself catapulted into the alternate reality of Silent Hill. During the game she discovers that the secret cult operating in the city, wants to use her to resurrect the pagan god killed on the previous video game episode. In this video game, there are several secret weapons, such as the Heather Beam, the flamethrower, a light saber and an unlimited machine gun. After completing the game the players will receive a rating, which takes in count levels of complexity, the time spent, the number of saves and many other factors.

    Quite possibly the single greatest survival horror game of all time.

    Everything about SH3 is so meticulously and lovingly crafted that it stands as a true paragon of its genre. The graphics are nearly unrivaled for the PS2, surpassing even most early PS3/360 games. The atmosphere is truly and deeply unsettling on a primal level. The dialogue and voice acting is packed with nuance and character. The gameplay is perfectly tuned, and is among the best that old style fixed camera horror games have to offer. Akira Yamaoka's soundtrack is sublime and sets the mood masterfully. The story is as complex and deep as you're willing to look while remaining enjoyable even if you don't. I could honestly gush about this game (and SH1&2 for that matter) all day, but to sum up, I'll just say that if you are a fan of horror games, you have no excuse to have not played this.

    Love this game. Probably my favorite of the series. The visuals are disturbing and the atmosphere is tense.

    The game does work, but it takes a minute for it to boot up. I noticed there was a slight chip in the disc and I was worried it would not boot, but it does boot up after you give it a minute. All that said, I love the game! :)

    PS2 Classic!

    SH3 was always a game I wanted to play for the PS2 since I was a kid. I've played the HD version and well, yeah it felt off. So playing the PS2 version was more raw with the graphics being what it was at the time which is perfect! Plus with the soundtrack makes this worth the purchase. This copy is exactly what I needed.! THANKS!!

    Amazing game at a terrible price.

    Silent hill 3 is an amazing game that brought many gamers years of terror filled enjoyment. While the price has skyrocketed ridiculously over the past decade, it is well worth the price.

    Absolutely fantastic

    The copy I received is probably the Krispiest video game copy I have ever received. It looks as though the game was played once and put on a shelf for 18 years never touched again. Couldn't be more happy with my purchase and I am absolutely psyched about playing the game.
