Engaging, and Very Well Writtem
For anyone interested in the "history" of the Federation, this book fills the gaps very adeptly. References from all of the cannon series are included and expounded upon in a very entertaining and believable manner. It blends well with both "Enterprise" and the original series and seems to form the basis for the fan film "Prelude to Axanar" which looked like a brilliant bit of work until it was shut down.
