It was a very good phone in it's day, but that's not what I'm using these for now.
I had one of these as a phone some years back. It worked great, was sturdy and the battery lasts seemingly forever. It's only problem was the lack of a slot for a memory card. I have two now, but they aren't used as telephones. The low price, large battery, robust build and stable WiFi and Bluetooth performance make these ideal for my current needs. I use them primarily as wireless remote throttles at my model train club, and at the large shows we participate in during the year. I share them with guests and children so they can enjoy operating trains on the layout independently. I also use them to stream music from WiFi, via Bluetooth to the various stereos and other devices in the house. That leaves our phones and tablets free for other duties. My favorite android phone.
The Motorola Droid Mini is my all time favorite android phone. Now don't get me wrong it is not perfect, but it is in my opinion very close to perfect. The size of the phone is my favorite feature. I am not a fan of the current trend with phones having screens over 5 inches. 4.3 inch screen is the sweet spot. Not to big, yet not to little. For the size of the phone the battery life is good, not great, but good. The only one issue is the fact that Motorola did not include an slot for a sd card. I have to be careful with how much apps/music/photos/videos I have on the phone. This is my second Droid Mini. I bought another one to put up for when this one dies. Small and powerful
This has all I need. It wakes up with an "ok Google Now" command and opens apps, sends texts, e-mail, etc. Very loud alarms when needed, can hear from 50 feet away easily. The only negatives are a maximum 16Gig, no SD slot. I haven't needed it. Battery life isn't great, less than a full day with high use at times so I keep a $10 charger close by just in case and charge every night. GREAT PHONE GREAT VALUE
I had this same phone for over a year. I loved it...I dropped it- unable to be repaired. I got a new phone but my mother needed a smartphone. I bought her this one. Love the camera, love the droid functions. She is learning this easily. The product I received looked absolutely brand new. Excellent
100 dollars for this awesome phone? Works absolutely amazing and if I don't play games on it throughout the day the battery only goes down 20% in my 8 hour school day. Definitely recommend, very fun to use hasn't glitched. Runs apps very well and has loud high quality speakers. 9.99/10. The negative is that the screen was scratched easily, but that just means you need to make sure to get a screen protector before you order it. Nontheless, it works amazing. Old -- but still wonderful

I Love This Phone
The phone looks great, being thinner than one might expect. I like the screensize, and the many options and features the phone has. I'm still learning all the phone has to offer. Battery life is good, even if hindered by all the Google overwhelm. Even so, there is not much bad to say about this phone. Yes, I would like to have had a second card slot, but with 32gb of memory, I might not need it. The camera turns on with a flick-twist of the wrist, which is great when you are trying to capture that fleeting moment on camera. I am finding, though, that the wrist snap doesn't always work. Charging is easy and doesn't take as long as with some others. Anyway, as I said, I love this phone. The only real problem I have with it is a carrier problem. Make sure you are prepared to recapture your former phone's contacts, pics, etc. I was a little less than prepared, so it took me a long time to figure things out. Nevertheless, this phone makes me glad I bought it. It processes faster than my old android, and is a great beauty. Best phone
I've had some smart phones but this one does go the distance with the extra ma battery. I can use this phone on a regular basis for three days before charging it on the fourth. Great function, good storage, neat Droid features
My phone is a refurbished model, but it operates flawlessly and has a good deal of RAM. I also added a 32 GB micro SD which brings my overalll data storage to 48 GB.
