I'll never forget the day when I received a 45rpm in the mail of my song by a new group "The Captain and Tennille", which by the way, I could not pronounce correctly. I put it on the turntable and almost fell off my chair. It was the most perfect production and performance of a pop song that I had ever heard. I marvel at what a great singer Toni Tennille truly is.     Good read!

    If you're a fan of The Captain and Tennille, or just Toni's solo work, you'll love this insight into her lifelong musical journey! It grabs you from the start, and it's nearly impossible to put down; with tales from behind the scenes of their hit TV show and the makings of their albums, emotional growth and realizations about their picture perfect relationship, and insight into the music business, this book is a great read. The Audio version will be out this Summer on CD and is available now for download on Audibles. I highly recommend the Audio Book if you enjoy Toni's soulful Southern accent. Either way, it's a good book and a great time, enjoy!

    Toni Tenille and her niece write beautifully and very candidly. She tells her story in the first person. She very honestly describes her lonely marriage to Daryl Dragon, her strange and controlling husband. If you are a fan, you will love this book.
