Take this study tool with a grain of salt
The translators of this book have given me a deeper understanding and appreciation of the Hebrew language. I want to encourage future buyers to take this book with a grain of salt. It's Jewish bias will, at times, conflict with the word of Yahuah (Heb. name for "The LORD") and we ought to obey Yahuah rather than man. (Another downside is that since this is a Jewish work, it does not include a New Tesament.) In the beginning of the book of Micah in the translators' notes, they encourage their readers to read the name of Yahuah as "Adonai", a Hebrew title that means in English "Master or Lord". The translators even admit their translation dishonesty in Micah 1:2 by rendering the Hebrew phrase "Adonai Yahuah" or "Master Yahuah" as "Adonai Elohim" or "Lord GOD" to avoid saying the name "Yahuah"! If I had not read the translator's note for Micah 1:2, I would not have known that I read the verse wrong. They have made a grievous error because Yahuah warns in Revelation 22:18-19 about a very scary punishment that He will allow on anyone who adds to or takes away from His Words. So, yes, this is still a helpful book, but at this point, I don't believe I should recommend the Jewish Study Bible as the first or only Bible that a new believer in Yahushua (Heb. for "Jesus") should read.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

Old Testament Encyclopedia
Study Bible is informative about Judaism. Excellent for learning about the Jewish faith. Commentary is different. Order of Old Testament differs from Protestant bible.
