Product Information

The Sims franchise embarks on an island-themed adventure with The Sims 2: Castaway. Players can create one to six characters, customizing their appearance, personality type, occupation, and more before setting sail, getting caught in a storm, and becoming shipwrecked on an uncharted island. After awakening on a deserted beach, your character (or party) must attempt to survive and eventually explore three adjacent islands. Specific goals to complete are documented in books strewn across beaches, jungles, caves, mountains, and other areas. Tasks range from making fires and acquiring tools to building structures and finding lost treasure. <br><br>Along the way characters will learn new skills and gradually change in appearance. If not properly cared for, characters can lose weight, wear out clothes, grow scraggly beards, and more. While the bulk of play involves gathering resources needed for survival, including fruits, shells, plants, wood, chickens, and other items, characters are encouraged to learn more about the islands and their inhabitants by venturing out into the unknown. Dangers include wild pigs, storms, starvation, and other surprises. Offering a more open-ended design than in previous Sims games on consoles, Castaway grants players the freedom to either live on the island or to escape to the familiarity and comforts of modern civilization.

One of my favorites
Sims 2 Castaway is, in my opinion, one of the best Sims games made. I enjoy building shelters, harvesting and foraging for food and materials, fishing, exploring all the different islands, and making friendships with the monkeys. It's definitely one of my favorite go-to games when I just want to relax for a while.

Sims 2 castaway.
I used to play this game all the time back in 2009 and have loved it ever since. As soon as this was delivered. I put it into my ps2 and played for almost an hour. It is great for nostalgia. I loved reliving my saved games and the sims 2 castaway was one of the best sims games.

Nostalgia!
I used to play this game so much when I was a kid, but I never got to finish it. Now that I am older, I thought about this game and I decided to buy it. Great price and great graphics! So much fun!

Best throwback ever!
It’s an older fame on an older counsel and still as amazing as when it gotta premiered. It’s a nice adventure rpg sims game that you can replay and do differently each time

Fond memories and worked without issues c:
I played this game when I was younger and I never got to see the end, so I bought the game to play it all the way through. Twas a wonderful journey down memory lane. Shipping was fast and worked without any issues.

Great game didn’t age well though!
Graphics are very poor even for a late PS2 game release but what do you expect from a 13 year old game.
