Huge improvement over wndr3400
I've been using two N-600 wndr3400 wireless routers for years. Recently the cable company jumped from 60 to 100 mbps; the N-600s remained at 60. This router provided an amazing improvement; it went to and maintains 111 mbps;it creates a "beam" for wireless connection by focusing the 3 antennas, and it works! Walking the dog, I was able to walk an impressive distance before my smartphone lost contact. There used to be dead zones everywhere in the small half-house we live in, but for the room the old router was in; the repeater was required for second floor. With this router, the entire house gets a great rating (-40 dbm on a wifi meter) The smartphone app is amazing for its control and options and it's free. The router itself is a breeze to setup and manage with the help of the Genie Software. The router itself is a little big and 'ugly' with the three antennas (better to position the central straight up and the two outside ones pointing slightly inward). The lights are not over bright so no distraction. We have lost the cable connection coming into the house several times, during their internet speed upgrade process, but the router is really robust and jumps right back into action with a quick reboot of the modem. I love it! I hope that it will last for years, as it has taken our communications to a whole new level, at a very reasonable price. Would totally recommend it for all but the largest homes, and then there are inexpensive ways to boost its range. I also have a Netgear AC1750 Nighthawk 1750 MBPS I bought at Walmart For $144.45 before I had a old Netgear model and I went to Walmart I bought a Netgear AC750 extender for $45.00 I connected my Range Extender and My Netgear router that I bought at Walmart Great Deals before the speed was with the old netgear model was 60 MBPS after with the upgrade with Netgear AC1750 was 245 MBPS NEW ROUTER and the Netgear AC750 Wi-Fi Range Extender speed was 244 MBPS I bought all this speed because I have a very big house and a lot of devices and I am a Gamer I love Netgear Company best to triple your devices and stream Full HD every device no dead spots range full bars I am soooooooo Happy I bought This Router at Wall-Mart.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

I purchased the router that I use through BEST BUY and it has worked great ... With the exception of not getting a strong enough signal to stream NETFLIX movies during our last solar storm. I could get internet service because it doesn't require near the data speed of streaming a movie.... I concluded {and wrongly so] that my router had died and I purchased a replacement... Fast, Easy to Set Up, Great Value
Would recommend. I get 35 Mbps internet speed and this router will broadcast through my whole apartment at those speeds. I love the settings in the configuration menu as I can set which devices take priority. This netgear ac1750 is amazin. My Internet speed went up
I loved this netgear ac1750 router. I am not a gamer, but an networking technitian and I experienced a great improvement in bandwith. I am so happy. My old router was limiting my isp bandwith. Awesome Router
This router was super easy to set up and has amazing range and power. I use it on 3 different gaming systems at the same time as well as my phone, my husbands phone, and 2 wifi TVs and it works flawlessly. For the price, you can't get a better router. Great router, with trouble getting online if you aren't tech savvy
I just got this router, and at first glance it looked great. Then once I started to try an use it, it was a pain to get working. I eventually got it all set up, and it works great. It's not very easy to set up, is the only con I can think of. There are tons of pros, and I can list a few. Faster speeds(in my case), and FULL control over the router, unlike rented modems from internet providers. A very good upgrade in the NETGEAR Nighthawk line of routers
I just received the NETGEAR Nighthawk AC 1750 (R6700) a few days ago as an upgrade to the R6400 unit. Very few differences in the models except the following: The R6700 is designed for a very large home versus the the R6400 which is for a large home. In addition the other difference is that the R6400 has 2 usb ports (2.0 and 3.0). The R6700 has only the 3.0, located in front. Very happy with the upgrade and the additional features are a plus.
