    A show that you have to see to know how wonderful it is!

    This is an amazing set of videos! Certainly the best videos from the 1960's! Emma Peel is the best character ever! It is a shame that she left the show to be on the James Bond movie, but we still have a lot of episodes!

    The title says it all.

    I love "The Avengers" starring Patrick Macnee and Diana Riggs. That was my favorite TV show of all time. I'm so happy to have this set of DVDs.

    Great Series

    I really enjoyed watching this went it first came to America and its still fun to watch today. Fell in love with Emma Peel and still am. Diana Rigg truly one of the first liberated women. Chemistry between Emma & Steed was great. Very innovated although one episode a take of of Agatha Christie's Ten Little Indians.

    1960s British television at it's best.

    American audiences instantly took to Diana Rigg when this series was later aired in the US. Along with the awesome Patrick Macnee as John Steed, this series is now legendary in the United States as well as in Britain. If you never saw much of British television of the 1960s this gives a huge insight to how it was (another series to do the same was "The Saint") I saw a lot of these when I was a kid and was hooked onto it. Highly recommended.
