    Approachable and comprehensive

    So amazing! Boice lays down the basics in a comprehensive but completely approachable manner. My pastor recommended it and added that the whole thing is taken from his sermons so it's really for everyone on all ends of the intellectual spectrum. He is an amazing writer who handles the text with great skill while bringing to light issues I never knew. Great and sound teaching! I'm gobbling it up!

    readable theology

    James Boice is one of the clearest, most effective Reformed communicators. In all his writing he seeks to carefully expound biblical texts and craft a theology that is Christ-centered and God-glorifying. Foundations is an excellent resource for pastors, students, and laypeople. It is complete and accessible in its scope of biblical theology.
