Fun Fun Japan HMK Store is an excellent choice when buying an item. They were extremely well communicative and efficient, they were able to get the item I ordered almost shipped out instantly. And the cherry on top is the very nice and cute letter they wrote with small paper origami’s. the condition of the item was superb, it matched the photos almost perfectly. The only problem I saw was that the box that holds the item (I got a watch) was pressed in a little. But other then that no problems

Very kind customer service. They wrote right away that my package had been shipped. It arrived in Hungary from Japan in 2!!! days - incredible speed. The watch was very nicely packaged and fully met the description. I'm glad I bought it from here! I can only recommend it to everyone.

Received the item faster then the expected date so that was a major W always love fast shipping, the packaging was premium and there was a little thank you note from the shop owner with some cool little Origami stars there was no way it woulda came broken so that was solid. Got exactly what was shown and described in the shop and it’s definitely one of my new fav figures %100 worth it. If I see something on his shop page I like I would most likely get it from him, thanks a bunch dude ;)

Coming from the mk1
The APC40 MKII is much more colorful than the old model that I used for a few years. If your using ableton with this unit, coloring your clips make it easy to recognize when using this colorful unit. I like the Mkii, its smaller, more compact and easy to transport. It seems to "fit" better than the older one, not near as bulky. It fits very nice on a laptop stand as well. Moving the 8 knobs to the top of each column is nice to, completely programmable and are nice for adding effects specific to each row. I have always enjoyed using the A/B fader located in the bottom right of the unit, with these new lighted A/B buttons on each column make it so easy to control this slide fade. Older new hardware purchase but perfect for my application!
This is being put to use in a special situation, to control laser show media server software. I ordered a custom software-specific vinyl overlay graphix from the laser software company and It worked great, right out of the box, no missing pieces of hardware, no drivers to install. I have not investigated the included music production software bundles packaged with this Akai device yet, but I look forward to installing and using these applications in the near future. This Akai APC40MKii controller is well constructed and also very light-wight at the same time. This is being put to use in a special situation, to control laser show media server software. A must have, if you are using ableton live.
Awesome product for Ableton. I thought about going a much cheaper route but happy that I paid the extra money.
