I would buy again!
Nice affordable 6 core upgrade from my stock 4 core xeon 3530.. But it only gave me a 7.4 score, compared to the 3530s 7.3 in the old windows7 rating, I am not expecting that to be a true rating of the performance boost it gives overall in today's world...

Inexpensive but very capabable
When combined with Supermicro discontinued products like the X8 family of motherboards, I have been able to create very powerful computing platforms for very affordable prices. I am building Plex Media Servers with this technology and LOVE it.

2x XEON X5650 aus Litauen/ from Lithuania
Both CPU's were ok. Needed a bit cleaning from thermal compound, no big deal considering the price ($15,- for two CPU's) ! Beide Processoren waren ok. Benötigten ein bisschen Reinigung von Wärmeleitpaste, keine große Sache angesichts des Preises ($15,- fur zwei Xeons) !

Excellent price-to-performance
The x5650's in a dual configuration still compete with modern consumer chips at a lower price give you find a motherboard that supports them at a decent price.
