Like all great writers of fiction, Ursula K. L e Guin creates imaginary worlds that restore us, hearts eased, to our own., Le Guin writes in quiet, straightforward sentences about people who feel they are being torn apart by massive forces in society-- technological, political, economic--and who fight courageously to remain whole., "Le Guin writes in quiet, straightforward sentences about people who feel they are being torn apart by massive forces in society technological, political, economicand who fight courageously to remain whole." Synopsis
The award-winning masterpiece by one of today's most honored writers, Ursula K. Le Guin! The Word for World is Forest When the inhabitants of a peaceful world are conquered by the bloodthirsty yumens, their existence is irrevocably altered. Forced into servitude, the Athsheans find themselves at the mercy of their brutal masters. Desperation causes the Athsheans, led by Selver, to retaliate against their captors, abandoning their strictures against violence. But in defending their lives, they have endangered the very foundations of their society. For every blow against the invaders is a blow to the humanity of the Athsheans. And once the killing starts, there is no turning back., The award-winning masterpiece by one of today's most honored writers, Ursula K. The seller was easy and quick to respond to my questions. The items arrived in good condition and were packaged well. I would say the only negative comment I have is I thought the order would arrive sooner based on the description when I ordered but I think this may have been a misunderstanding in how I read it. But overall I would give the seller a top performance review.

Quite possibly the highest quality book shipment I have ever received. Amazon could learn a lot from Dunkin! My book was still wrapped in cellophane. So, a new book just as described and as pictured. Plus it was wrapped in foam and shipped in a fresh, clean box the very next day after I purchased it. Not only did the Dunkin Bookstore offer the book for a great value, but I would consider their customer service excellent as well. Highly recommended seller!

Perfect purchase! This is a wonderful Seller! I received my books ahead of schedule. They were packed in a very sturdy box that fit the books like a glove. When I give a positive, 5 star rating, I look for three things : 1. Did the item arrive on time? 2. Was it packed carefully, to arrive as undamaged as possible? 3. Was the item exactly as described? The books were still wrapped in their shrink wrap and were perfect. You won’t have to worry about this Seller’s reputation. It is spot on!!!
