It's about an extremely important Godly person.
It's a prolific and powerful story with excellent representation of King David (as well as The Bible) and Jonathan.

David was more than this
This is Biblical history which has been told and retold countless times. This particular undertaking fell short. A low budget, amateurish film. I expected far better.

I love it. I always wanted to learn more about King David. The story started with David at an youngters until it merge into his adulthood.
The story disclosed all I have heard over the years and more. It help me to get know King David a little better. He was a man of songs and melody. He was very humble. I did not see him as a puff up King fill with pride.l

A must buy
Excellent movie characters pretty much as in the Bible, highly recommend to those that are fans of this genre. Makes a must for your movie library.

Good Biblical movie
While no Biblical movie totally follows the Bible (and that is why I rarely watch them) I did enjoy this one though I liked the first half (young David) better than the second half (older David). Two different actors portraying the two.
