fun kitsch
I love bygone Americana; if you do too, give this author a try. This book offers a glimpse of the bygone days when America had not good but GREAT advertising gimmicks like huge shoes to promote a shoe-repair shop and such. It is full of pictures of old signage, much of which still exists but is falling into disrepair. This is the best book, in my opinion, of this author.
