I contacted the seller, explained the situation, and asked for help. The seller suggested that I pay both shipping costs and they would refund one of them. I did this and the seller sent out the extremely well-wrapped pins and refund shortly afterwards. The pins arrived in great condition a few days later. Great communication and cooperation from this seller. Would buy from them again.
