Reviews
Praise for God Rest Ye, Royal Gentlemen "Britain teeters on the brink of scandal and war in this charming combination of history and mystery."-- Kirkus "The fifteenth entry in Bowen's popular Royal Spyness series again combines a delightful spoof of the British upper classes (shades of Oscar Wilde and Noël Coward) with an Agatha Christie-style period cozy... A plucky heroine and plenty of droll British humor will keep readers happy."-- Booklist "The humor and wit match a cast of charming, quirky characters. Bowen's lovely English Christmas cozy doesn't disappoint."-- Publishers Weekly

Synopsis
Georgie is back and hanging the stockings with care when a murder interrupts her Christmas cheer in this all-new installment in the New York Times bestselling Royal Spyness series from Rhys Bowen. Georgie is excited for her first Christmas as a married woman in her lovely new home. She suggests to her dashing husband, Darcy, that they have a little house party, but when Darcy receives a letter from his aunt Ermintrude, there is an abrupt change in plans. She has moved to a house on the edge of the Sandringham estate, near the royal family, and wants to invite Darcy and his new bride for Christmas. Aunt Ermintrude hints that the queen would like Georgie nearby. Georgie had not known that Aunt Ermintrude was a former lady-in-waiting and close confidante of her royal highness. The letter is therefore almost a royal request, so Georgie, Darcy, and their Christmas guests: Mummy, Grandad, Fig, and Binky all head to Sandringham. Georgie soon learns that the notorious Mrs. Simpson, mistress to the Prince of Wales, will also be in attendance. It is now crystal clear to Georgie that the Queen expects her to do a bit of spying. There is tension in the air from the get-go, and when Georgie pays a visit to the queen, she learns that there is more to her request than just some simple eavesdropping. There have been a couple of strange accidents at the estate recently. Two gentlemen of the royal household have died in mysterious circumstances and another has been shot by mistake during a hunt. Georgie begins to suspect that a member of the royal family is the real target but her investigation will put her new husband and love of her life, Darcy, in the crosshairs of a killer.

- 1***r (14)- Bewertung vom Käufer.Letzte 6 MonateBestätigter KaufItem arrived well packed and as described at the best price I could find. Shipping got a little screwy; tracking info was provided, cancelled and then provided again a few days later. Package arrived a day past original estimate. Over all a positive experience, would do business with these folks again.
- t***j (14)- Bewertung vom Käufer.Letzte 6 MonateBestätigter KaufThe item arrived within the given time frame of shipping. Prior to being given the tracking details there was an issue but after speaking to the seller the issue was resolved. The item did not match the edition but was the same product. The seller was able to provide steller customer service due to this issue. I am now satisfied with my purchase though wish it was a more accurate version as seen in the photo reference. Would buy again from the seller but ask for further details just to be sure.
- 1***b (41)- Bewertung vom Käufer.Letzte 6 MonateBestätigter KaufVery reasonable price for the book given it’s an international edition. I did not feel as though this seller was price gauging in any way which is really appreciated given what I saw a week or so ago. The book was exactly as advertised and in its original wrapping so the condition and quality are excellent. Shipping arrived within the specified window so no complaints there. Wife loved the appearance of this edition and was excited to get it. I would recommend this seller and use them again.
