Tom Lehrer Live
If you know Tom Lehrer, there's nothing I can tell you.... you know the man is a genius! If you have never heard of Tom Lehrer, he wrote very funny songs (and I'm not a fan of comedy songs usually!) noted for his speed of delivery, his unique approach to creative rhyming and, I'll have to repeat myself, his pure comic genius and originality. Every one of his songs is a delight and they all contain a surprise or unexpected twist... not necessarily at the end either. The fun is in the lyrics, which should be listened to, and in his introductions. This is in no-way "background music" and, although he is an accomplished pianist, the music is a vehicle for the words. Missing and unreadable tracks
The Lehrer songs are priceless, even 50-60 yrs on. But - and found this out just in last week - this cd is corrupted in the middle sets. Too late to send back, suspect this is a one off problem.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

Still funny after all these years
