What A Difference
I purchased a P35i new last fall of 2015. The unit was quite for about the first 2 months and I started to notice it was getting noisier. I was able to track it down to the combustion blower motor was making a weird noise ,but didn't hinder the performance of the unit, it was just annoying. I don't know if that would of been covered under the warranty, probably not, that's just my luck. I saw this blower on eBay and noticed it was built by a different manufacturer, with different features. For example needle bearings vs ball bearings. All I can say is I installed today with ease and what a difference. It is so quite that we no longer have to turn the volume up so loud on the tv so we could hear it over the stove. Exact fit for my 30 year old Whitfield
Needed a new exhaust blower motor for my 1990 Whitfield Advantage II pellet stove and didn't want to pay the $150+ for a factory replacement. Figured I could make this one work even if it wasn't an exact fit (since it is for a different stove and all), but to my surprise it was in fact an exact fit, right down to the bolt hole locations. Reused my old blades and was up and running in just a few minutes. Same brand as the original motor that came out of the stove and that one lasted nearly 30 years.Needed a new exhaust blower motor for my 1990 Whitfield Advantage II pellet stove and didn't want to pay the $150+ for a factory replacement. Removing the old fan was a slight challenge, I had to break off the old fan blades and cut/drill out the collar because the allen set screw would not budge. I recommend buying a new fan blade when you purchase the blower motor. The fan that comes with the blower is a permanent fixture, the fan blade that has to be removed is behind the ash pan inside the stove easy to get at. Once the new parts were in place and the stove was running I said "I cant hear you " because it was very quiet compared to how clunky and noisy the old one was. It was a perfect fit. Havent gone thru a ton of pellets yet. If the rating loses a star I will post a reason. Ball Bearing, Pellet Stove
This motor has ball bearing vs. brass sleeve bearing. Ball bearing far superior. These are great motors, plus, you can purchase the bearing and rebuild the motor yourself for about $15.00 if your handy and have a little mechanical experience. If not, for the the price, and get about three years trouble free service is a good value. This motor fits Breckwell 2000 as well. Convection and Combustion, same motor.This motor has ball bearing vs. brass sleeve bearing. Ball bearing far superior. Exhaust Motor
The motor is a direct replacement for the Harman Pellet Stove OEM motor. I received it within one week and installation proceeded without a hitch. The price was very good compared to the OEM motor and other sites. However, and this is not the supplier's fault entirely, the price is still too much considering it's a small open frame motor with no bells and whistles. Having said that I highly recommend the supplier.The motor is a direct replacement for the Harman Pellet Stove OEM motor. I received it within one week and installation proceeded without a hitch. The price was very good compared to the OEM motor and other sites. However, and this is not the supplier's fault entirely, the price is still too much considering it's a small open frame motor with no bells and whistles.
