great design
The product itself is an excellent product. Works great, good quality, looks good. The installation is a little tricky. The "one size fits all" claim is not entirerly accurate. I had to take mine to a machine shop and have them cut off about 3" to make it fit. The spacers provided where not enough to keep it from dragging the ground. I had to drill 3 holes in my discharge chute to make it fit but that was not big deal. Installation instructions are not great so go on You Tube and watch for a better description. Works great but needs a better way to judge bolt hole location.
It works great but during installation they need to give a template for drill holes. The first holes I drilled the flap looked flat against the discharge chute once tightened it pulled it away about 1/2 an inch and it would cover the mower in grass clippings when down. I had to remove bolts and drill holes a little farther back to let it set flat against the discharge chute and that held the grass in. It was on a quick cat and I had to use several spacers because of the deck design that might have been part of the issue.It works great but during installation they need to give a template for drill holes. Not All it’s Cut Out To Be
Assembly is easy, operation is easy, however, it throws grass clippings all over you and your deck when closed. The cover does prevent about 90% of grass from going out. About 50% of blocked grass ends up on you and your deck, the other 40 ends up in a line of clumps depending on the dryness of grass. Wet grass obviously will clump badly where as dry grass will be a line of clippings minus clumps. Overall I’m not happy with this product, and removed it from my mower. I did use it 5 times before writing this review and deciding on how I felt about it. My purpose in this purchase was to be able to mow around and between flower beds and not throw clippings back into them.Assembly is easy, operation is easy, however, it throws grass clippings all over you and your deck when closed. universal fit
put this on scagg tiger cat 52" not a direct fit but pretty good for a one fits many application went on well drill 3 holes bolt on with spacers. made a modification on the slot of lift arm to allow plate to retract back far enough to be flush with edge of deck other than that all is good . will be putting this on my other mowers as time allows

Needs some improvement
Plate is bent in the middle, leaving a gap and it covers you in grass clippings and dust. It should come with a rubber seal so you can attach it to fill the gap for a good seal, not allowing any blow back. I purchased some 1”x1” foam weather stripping and attached it to the top edge of the deck. (Got that idea from a YouTube video of a guy that had the same problem)Not sure how long it will last but it helps.Plate is bent in the middle, leaving a gap and it covers you in grass clippings and dust.
