And the time on is adjustable from 5 secs to 5 minutes and the angle of detection and amount of light are also adjustable - but stupidly, it doesn't say so in the description! The clear polycarbonate top lets more light out than did my old PIR lanterns and it's much easier to change the light bulb in this one, as the whole top just unscrews ;-) The instruction sheet enclosed with the light were too faint to read clearly - and it's all diagrams (no text) :-(
