However, once placed in the computer the Windows Bootable CD didn't recognize the hard drive to format the disk. Same problem as with the old hard drive not booting the system up. Other problems like the mother board may be at play. The BIOS does recognize both (old/new) Western Digital 80MB disk. Seller "Thank you" the price was surprisingly cheap. Might verify the hard drives on a working system later, for now my Dell B110 is dead.

The machine only had a 4 gig hard drive, so I decided to try this 80. I had some issues at first with the bios not recognizing the drive, but after updating the bios everything has been working fine. Now I can fill up the drive with a bunch of games that I'll probably never play.
