Nice likeness with limited articualtion
I was very excited to see this one shot Mr. Spock figure produced by Super7. There have been other 1/18 OS figures over time but none very good. Indeed Super7 themselves released a series years ago that were crude and disappointing. I Purchased more than one of these because I wanted the figure, but I beleve that it was more intended as a collectible in special packaging. The backing board is shaped in the Vulcan hand salute "live long and prosper" with no hang tag or hanger punch. The figure itself has a great sculpt, with a pleasing likeness that could benefit from a little better paint design. The eye paint is generic so does not reflect the angled eyelids of the actor. 5 point articulation and the right arm bent in salute make it very limited as an "Action Figure". That being said it's still the best 1/18 Mr Spock figure up to this point. An added plus is that the scale and proportions make this Spock fit right in with modern Star Wars figures. (A Vulcan in the Empire? May the force be with you) I purchased the Big Bang Theory Sheldon as Spock and switched arms. The paint on Sheldon is a little more pastel and matt than the Spock, but close enough and gives him a more normal stance than the forever waving right arm.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu
