Originally designed with Navy SEALs in mind, this tough and handsome Luminox 3001.BO Wrist Watch for Men boasts optimum performance in extreme conditions. This wristwatch employs Luminox's self-powered illumination that utilizes tiny tritium tubes to light up the hour markers and hands. They remain lit to provide a high level of visibility even in the dark of night. All lighting is ice blue except for the green second hand. These watches are comfortable to wear around the clock while allowing you to see clearly even if you wake at night. The light tubes never need to be recharged, nor are you required to push a button to activate the lighting. This special, constant illumination of the Luminox Navy Seal Black Out Series for men lasts up to 25 years. The Luminox Navy SEAL 3001 tactical watch for men also boasts water resistance to depths of 660 feet. This means that men can wear their Luminox Navy Seal watch accessories in the shower, while participating in water-related sports, or at sea. The precision Swiss quartz movement keeps accurate time and is protected by a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating.The stainless steel case is painted black, and the caseback is secured with tough, stainless steel screws for extra security. The case on the Luminox Navy Seal watch is 43mm in diameter and 12mm thick. The unidirectional, rotating dive bezel on these Luminox watches allows men to time how long they are submerged. It also helps ensure that you keep on target. Tritium gas tubes make it easy to read in the dark or underwater and also illuminate the pearl on the bezel. The black dial features an easy to read date display at the number three position. The face is marked for both military time and standard time in a way that makes conversion simple. The battery lasts four to five years, and the watch has an end of battery life indicator. When you need a new battery, the second-hand starts jumping at 4-second intervals. This Luminox watch features a black rubber, silicone band with an adjustable buckle closure for a soft, comfortable fit. The tough, polyurethane strap stands up to sweat, water, and abuse; it measures 25 millimeters wide and 8 inches long. The lug width is 22 millimeters. This original Luminox Navy Seal Diver Blackout series watch uses all black features for stealth and safety. As a result, these watches are understated and discreet when worn with dark clothing under night vision.
