    I asked about an offer for the board without the fan and heat pipe, and the seller gave me a great offer for that, and not only followed through with it, but they were still willing the give me the fan and heat pipe as well. Thanks, I really appreciate it. The motherboard came exactly as pictured and works flawlessly. The only thing I wish was that the description was a little more descriptive, but in the end I still got what i wanted, and at a good price, too. I recommend this seller and item.

    Recommend

    Fans run very quietly. USB pigtail is a good length. Grilles on one side of fan to keep objects from entering blades. I am using these fans to pull heat away from my home theater receiver in a closed cabinet, with switched power coming from the USB port on my TV. For my purposes, this is a great solution. I have only set this up recently, so I can not comment on the durability.

    Fan set

    I bought this fan set to set on top of my Frontier WIFI router. The router has a USB port so I set them on top and plugged it in. The set does a great job keeping it cool but it is amazing how quiet they are. Highly recommend!

    cooling fans

    my application for them is not the standard way to use them. i fastened them to the side of my computer case. the flow of air coming from the exhaust fan in the back was too not enough to be doing the job properly so i added these to the out side to blow air in. i realize that dust is a problem but i think that is a fair trade off as cooling is(air flow) more critical than simple dust particles, which will have some portion of them going out the back exhaust air stream. regardless these two fans have lots of torque and oscillate very effectively.

    These fans really blow...

    They work very well. Glad I bought them. My computer is part of my entertainment center. I bought these to keep the airflow cool in the area were the tower sits. They do just that. I constantly monitor the temps of my machine. Before I got these, it ran a little warm. Now it's perfect. I will be buying another pair for another setup I'm doing.
